The Asset Arca app requires the provision of certain personal data to ensure the app's core functionality. This includes title, first name, and last name. These details are necessary to create and manage your user account (Legal Basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. b GDPR - Contract Fulfillment).
Additionally, you can provide optional data to enhance your user experience and customize the app to your needs. The processing of this data occurs solely based on your explicit consent (Legal Basis: Art. 6 (1) lit. a GDPR).
The required data is necessary for the app's core functionality. All other data is optional and serves to improve your user experience and customize the app to your preferences.
Payment processing is handled exclusively through the respective app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). We do not have access to your payment information. The terms of the respective app stores apply. For more information, please refer to: https://www.apple.com/legal/privacy/, https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=en.
Your data is stored exclusively on your device in a SQLite database. Asset Arca can create an encrypted backup that you manage and store wherever you want.
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data from loss, misuse, and unauthorized access. These include regular security audits and updates.
You can edit or delete your data at any time within the app.
Upon request, you can export your data in a common, machine-readable format for transfer to another system (Legal Basis: Art. 20 GDPR).
The security of your data is of utmost importance to us. Despite storing your data locally, we implement appropriate security measures, such as encryption, to protect your data from unauthorized access or loss.
We only retain your personal data for as long as necessary to fulfill contractual or legal obligations. After this period, the data will be deleted according to legal requirements.
The security of your data also depends on your behavior. We recommend choosing a strong password and protecting your device against unauthorized access.

You have the right to file a complaint with a supervisory authority if you believe that the processing of your data violates the GDPR. In Germany, this is the Federal Commissioner for Data Protection and Freedom of Information (BfDI) (Art. 77 GDPR).
We reserve the right to update this privacy policy as needed to reflect changes in our data processing practices or legal requirements.
